Columbus Blue Jackets - NHL Hockey

Columbus Blue Jackets image The Columbus Blue Jackets are a Western Conference, Central Division NHL hockey team based in Columbus, Ohio. Founded in 2000 as an expansion team, they are the only NHL team to have never qualified for the Stanley Cup playoffs. To date, they have won zero division titles, no conference titles, and of course, no Stanley Cups. Their homecourt is the Nationwide Arena and the head coach is currently Ken Hitchcock. The Blue Jackets are owned by John P. McConnell. Minor league affiliates include the Syracuse Crunch, the Johnstown Chiefs, and the Youngstown SteelHounds.

Prominent Blue Jackets players include Rick Nash, Ray Whitney, and Sergei Fedorov.
