The Dallas Stars are a Western Conference, Pacific Division NHL hockey team based in Dallas, Texas. Founded in 1967, they were originally known as the Minnesota North Stars before coming to Dallas in 1993. To date, they have won 7 division titles, 2 conference titles, and 1 Stanley Cup. Their home court is the American Airlines Center and the team’s head coach is currently Dave Tippett. The Stars are owned by Tom Hicks. Minor league affiliates include the Idaho Steelheads.
