Damages is a law drama on FX staring Glenn Close as Patty Hewes and Ellen Parsons as Rose Byrne. The show debuted in 2007 and centers around ruthless yet brilliant lawyer (Close) and her apprentice (Byrne) and during the first season the two try to win a case against the ex-CEO of a cooperation by any means necessary.
The show has received critical acclaim and has been nominated and won many awards. FX renewed the series despite rumors that the show would be canceled due to low ratings.
