
Fabricio Oberto is a Center/Forward for the
San Antonio Spurs. He began his career in 1998 in Europe, playing for the Olympiacos. He then went to Spain and played for Tau Ceramica from 2000 to 2002, and ended his career in Spain playing with Pamesa Valencia from 2002 to 2005. Oberto signed as a free agent with the
San Antonio Spurs in 2005, becoming the oldest rookie in Spurs history at the age of 30. Oberto is married to Lorena, and has a daughter named Julia who was born in 2005. He has had many accolades including the 2004 Olympic Gold Medal for his home country, Argentina, as well as helping the
San Antonio Spurs win the NBA Championship in 2007.
