Family Guy is an animated series that ran of FOX from 1999 to 2002 then again from 2005 to the present. The show was was resurrected after it's initial cancellation due to strong ratings on Adult Swim and good DVD sales.
The show centers on the Griffin family, a dysfunctional, raunchy clan who live in Quahog, Rhode Island (a fictional suburb). The show is known for runaway jokes and many references to pop culture.
