Originally founded in 1899 by a group of investors, the name Fiat stands for “Fabbrica Italiana Automobil Torino” or Italian Automobile Factory of Turin. Fiat’s vehicles are sold worldwide, notably in Brazil where they are bestsellers. Their most famous sub-brands include Ferrari, Maserati, and Alfa Romeo.
