Ford F-150 - Ford

The Ford F-150 is part of the F-Series, a line of full-size pickup trucks manufactured by American automaker Ford. First introduced in 1948, the F-150 has been the best-selling vehicle in the United States for a quarter of a century and the best-selling truck for over 30 years. It is estimated that the F-Series alone has made up nearly 50% of Ford’s profits in recent years. The F-150 is currently in its 12th generational design phase.

Power is provided by a variety of engines ranging from a 4.6L V8 to a 4.4L turbodiesel. Transmission options include either a 4 or 6 speed automatic. Manual transmissions will no longer be available. Hybrid models are planned for the future.
