Ford Focus is a compact car manufactured by American automaker
Ford. First introduced in 2000, two different Focus models are sold on
the international and North American markets. It is currently in its second generational design phase and is available in both sedan and coupe versions.
The North American
Ford is powered by a 2.0L Duratec I4 engine mated to either a 5
speed manual or 4
speed automatic transmission. Estimated fuel economy is at 24 mpg city/33 mpg highway.
Overseas,
the international Focus is one of the best selling
Fords on the market and there is a degree of controversy as to why the superior engineering of this car is not brought to the American market.
