Girlfriends was a sitcom that aired on UPN from 2006 to 2006, then on The CW from 2006 to 2008. The show revolved around the friendship of four African American women living in Los Angeles.
The show was a huge hit and was the highest show among African American adults. It is one of the longest running shows with a mostly African American cast to air on network television.
