GMC Acadia - General Automotive

The GMC Acadia is a crossover sport utility vehicle manufactured by the GMC label of General Motors. First introduced in 2006, it is built on the Lambda platform and thus shares design elements with the Buick Enclave and Saturn Outlook. It is the first front-wheel drive vehicle under the GMC name. All-wheel drive is still available.

Power is provided by a 3.6L V6 engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The chassis is a unibody construction providing more rigidity and stability.
