Great Wall Motor Company(GWM) is an automobile manufacturer headquartered in Baoding, in China’s Hebei Province. Founded in 1984, Great Wall was the first privately owned car company in China and it is also listed on the Hong Kong Stock Market. Within its home market, it is considered one of the best brands and one of the top enterprises in the country.
In 2006, Great Wall exported their Hover model to Europe for the first time. There have been some claims by automaker Fiat that GW has copied some of their designs.
