Sexy ads, sexy clothes. Guess? has been around for a long time and has provided men and women clothes that are stylish and young. The American name-brand line is best known for their sexualized ad campaigns that have featured various famous fashion models and celebrities such as
Drew Barrymore, Anna Nicole Smith and
Paris Hilton. The ads are usually in black and white and aim to make the clothes appear sexy and seductive.
Although the company tires to create a sexy image, it has been widely criticized for using sweatshop labor and has prompted many celebrities and human rights activists to boycott the fashion line. The company was founded by four brothers from Morocco: Georges, Armand, Paul and Maurice Marciano. The brothers are still much involved in running the company and have helped Guess? expand beyond clothes to shoes and accessories.
In 2007 Guess? introduced a new line called G by Guess, which is inspired by urban and night club styles that is stylish and sexy. Guess has made it easy for fashion fans to keep up with the latest trends by creating a user friendly site. Guess was founded in Los Angeles and that is where their headquarters is located.
