The movie stars Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu, and Monique Coleman. High School Musical was filmed at East High School and Murray High School. Both high schools are located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
