Jack (Billy Bob Thornton), Carter (Hank Azaria), and Harlan(Ryan Phillippe) play three drifters who are going to become drug lords after kidnapping their boss. The three accomplices are innocent, immature and awkward, and are going to be plunged in spite of them into a world that is hard and merciless. Nothing had prepared them for all the problems which to go to follow: negotiations with the mafia, the corruption of the police. The film gross over $215 million at the box office.
