Honda Pilot - General Automotive

The Pilot is a mid-size SUV manufactured by Honda and first introduced in 2002. In contrast to the smaller CR-V, the Pilot was meant to fill the growing American demand for larger sports utility vehicles. The result has been a success with the Pilot being a best-seller for Honda selling over 100,000 units in 2004 alone.

The Pilot can transport up to eight passengers with three rows of seating. Power is provided by a 3.5L V6 engine producing 250 horsepower. The Pilot also carries a four-wheel drive system that delivers engine power to all four wheels under acceleration and when slippage is detected.
