James Mangold directed the 2003 psychological horror film Identity. The film was produced by Cathy Conrad. The screenplay was written by Michael Cooney. John Cusack, Ray Liotta and Amanda Peet are the stars in the movie. Identity was inspired from Agatha Christie's novel And Then There Were None. The plot of the movie has ten strangers stranded at a desolate Nevada motel during a nasty rainstorm,slowly they realize that they are killed one by one. The film was shot mainly on a sound stage at Sony Studios in Culver City. Some parts were also shot in Lancaster and other parts of Los Angeles county. The movie was released by Columbia Pictures on April 25,2003 to generally positive reviews. Budget for the movie was $28 million.
