Jack Black is an American actor, musician, and comedian who is probably best known for his band Tenacious D. The band, which features long time friend Kyle Glass, focuses on creating rock music with a comedic twist to it.

In his personal life, he once dated comedian Laura Kightlinger for eight years. In 2006, he married Tanya Haden and the couple has a son, Samuel Jason Black.
