The Jaguar XK is a touring car built by British automaker Jaguar. Introduced in 1996 at the Geneva Motor Show, it replaced the discontinued XJS and is available in both coupe forms and a convertible. The car is currently in its 2nd generational design phase.
Power is currently provided by a 4.2L V8 engine mated to a 6 speed automatic transmission. The XK8 was actually the first vehicle from Jaguar to be powered by a V8. Despite its high performance and sports-like drive, no manual is offered.
