Josh Howard - NBA Basketball

Josh Howard image Josh Howard began his NBA career in 2003. He was drafted as the 29th selection by Dallas Mavericks. Howard attended Glenn High School in Kernersville, where he was a First-Team All-State selection in his senior year. After spending an year at Hargrave Military Academy, Howard went on to Wake Forest University in 1999. He majored in sociology and minored in International Studies. Howard became the first member of his family to graduate from college. Howard started off as a bench player for the Dallas Mavericks. But after the injury to Marquis Daniels in 2004, he earned a spot in the starting line-up. In 2007, Josh Howard was a member of the NBA All Star team He is also a member of the 2008 US Olympic team, which won the Gold Medal in the Beijing Games. Today, Howard is regarded as one of the finest players in the NBA.
