As the movie goes Scott Prendergast, as the character Salman, is going to help his brother's wife Leslie, which is the character played by
Lisa Kudrow, to care for his two nephews while his brother is in Iraq on duty. Leslie needs assistance with the boys to hang on to her job and her benefits. Salman takes a job as a mascot for a dot-com company to help make ends meet, yet the mascot has an embarrassing giant blue costume to wear. The nephews Cameron and Lincoln played by Cameron Wofford and Landon Henninger were modeled from Prendergast's real life nephews, who also appear in a scene in the movie.
