La Perla - Fashion Designers

La Perla is an italian lingerie company best known for its luxurious, handmade intimate apparel. One of the biggest names in Italian fashion, La Perla's lingerie is highly popular among the rich and famous in the United States as well.

Company founder Ada Masotti started the company in the 1950s making custom corsets for wealthy women. Once demand increased, Masotti teamed up with partner Ubaldo Borgomanero to create a collection. Customers can find a wide range of lingerie from La Perla, from modern cotton to romantic lace and everything in between.

In 2007, La Perla joined a strategic alliance with JH Partners (who now has control of the brand) to expand the name worldwide.
