The MKZ is a mid-size luxury car built by the Lincoln division of American automaker
Ford. First introduced in 2006, it was initially named the Lincoln Zephyr before the switch to the new 3 letter alphanumeric naming scheme. The MKZ nevertheless is the sister car of the
Ford Fusion and the Mercury Milan which are all based on the common
Ford CD3 platform.
Power is provided by either a 3 or 3.5L Duratec V6 mated to a 6
speed automatic transmission. Additional features include LED lighting, high intensity discharge headlights, dual-zone climate controls, DVD-based navigation system, and even a THX certified audio system.
