Lindsay Lohan is an American actress and former child star. She is known for her trademark red hair and freckles.
Her breakthrough movie was in the remake of the film The Parent Trap, in which she received rave reviews for her duel-role as identical twins. From there, she went to on to star in such family-friendly films as Freaky Friday,
Mean Girls, Herbie: Fully Loaded, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, and A Prairie Home Companion.
In addition to her acting career, she has been successful as a singer, recording two albums with such hits as “Rumors” and “Confessions of a Broken Heart”.
Previously known for being a safe and likable star of various Disney movies, her life has since been littered with scandal and tabloid headlines, including car accidents, drug and alcohol problems, and most recently a lesbian relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson.
Her family has been the cause of much controversy as well. Her parents have had a rocky relationship and divorce history that included allegations of abuse.
