
The Los Angeles Dodgers are a Major League Baseball team that came into the league in 1883. Presently they play in Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California. The team logo is red, white, and blue and features the word “Dodgers” and a baseball with a red trail going through it.
Notable Dodgers of past and present include Jackie Robinson, Tommy Lasorda, Pee Wee Reese, Sandy Koufax, Don Drysdale, Don Sutton, Roy Campanella, Duke Snyder, Jim Gilliam, Eric Gagne, Steve Garvey, Gil Hodges, Brett Butler, Zack Wheat, Orel Hershiser, Kirk Gibson, and Manny Ramirez. They play in the National League West Division with such teams as the
Colorado Rockies,
Arizona Diamondbacks,

San Francisco Giants. They last won the World Series in 1988 against the
Oakland Athletics. In that World Series, Kirk Gibson hit his famous home run.
