Mazda MX-5 Miata - General Automotive

The Mazda MX-5 is a two-seat sports car manufactured by Japanese automaker Mazda. First introduced in 1989, it has multiple names: most commonly it is known as the Miata in the North American market, and the Roadster in Japan, an odd redundancy since it is classified as a roadster itself in the West. It is credited by some as reviving the once stagnant passion for roadsters in the 1990s. It is currently in its third generational design phase.

Power is currently provided by either a 1.8L I4 or a 2.0L I4. Transmission options include a 5 or 6 speed manual, or a 6 speed automatic. Features include traction control and stability control.
