The CLS is an executive size luxury/executive car built by German automaker Mercedes-Benz. First introduced in 2004, it is marketed as a “4-door coupe” taking design elements of both a coupe and a sedan. The car is currently still in its first generation.
Power is provided by a variety of engines starting with a 3.5L V6 and ending with a 6.2L V8. All engines are mated to a 7 speed automatic transmission. Safety features include airbags and a sensor system that tightens seatbelts and adjusts airbag response according to the severity of a collision.
