Mercedes GL-Class - General Automotive

The GL Class is a full size sport utility vehicle built by German automaker Mercedes-Benz. First introduced in 2006, it was designed mostly for the American market which is a reflection of its large size. It is still sold in Europe however, but in fewer numbers. Its main competitors are the BMW X5, the Audi Q7, and the Cadillac Escalade.

Power is provided by an engine range that starts with a smaller 3.0L V6 and ends with a 5.5L V8. Mercedes offers its new 7 speed automatic transmission as part of the vehicle’s drive train.
