Although Mia Farrow has been in countless movies she is mostly known for two things: starring in Rosemary's Baby and being married to Woody Allen. Born Maria de Lourdes Villiers-Farrow, has won many awards for her acting, including a Golden Globe and multiple BAFTA Film awards.
Farrow's path to fame began when she landed a starring role in the 1968 Roman Polanski directed horror movie Rosemary's Baby. The film is still one of the most celebrated and revered horror movies of all time. Farrow even won a Golden Globe and got rave reviews for her performance.
Farrow was married to Frank Sinatra for two years when she was 21 and he was 50. He served her with divorce papers when she refused to quite the film Rosemary's Baby and work on his film. In 1970 Farrow married again, this time to pianist Andre Previn. They divorced nine years later but remained on good terms. She then began a long term relationship with director Woody Allen but that relationship came to an end when she discovered that Allen was having a sexual relationship with her adopted daughter Soon-Yi.
In total, Farrow is the mother of 15 children. Her main focus has been her children and even after failed relationships, she kept adopting kids and raising them as a single mother. In 2008, her daughter, Lark Song Previn (whom she adopted with former husband Andre) died after a long complicated illness. She was 35.
