NCIS (Naval Criminal Investigative Service) is a military drama on CBS. The show debuted in 2003 and is a spin-off of another military drama,
JAG. The show focuses on a team of Naval special agents who investigate major crimes connected to all branches of the military.
The drama stars Mark Harmon as Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs as head of the NCIS team. His team includes special agents Anthony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly), Timothy McGee (Sean Murray), and Mossad Liaison Officer Ziva David (Cote de Pablo).
The show has is constantly on top 10 of the ratings charts and shows no signs of slowing down even though it is airing its sixth season. NCIS has also gotten numerous award nominations and a few wins.
