Nissan Altima - General Automotive

The Altima is a mid-size car built by Nissan of Japan. First introduced in 1993, it is available in both North America and the Middle East and is currently in its 4th generation design phase. The sedan has been critically acclaimed both for its design and handling but has been criticized for what some consider a cheap interior as well a turning circle that is too wide for tight parking lot maneuvering.

Power is provided by either a 2.5L I4 or 3.5L V6 through a 6 speed manual or an optional continuously variable transmission(CVT). The coupe version was introduced in 2007 as a 2008 model. Nissan also plans to bring hybrid technology to its Altima line.
