The Murano is a mid-size sports utility vehicle built by
Nissan of Japan. First introduced in 2002, the Murano was actually designed in La Jolla, Ca and is currently in its second generation model. The name Murano comes from a region located in Venice, Italy.
Power is currently provided by a 3.5L V6 engine through a continuously variable transmission. Standard safety features include 4-wheel disc brakes, ABS, electronic stability control, airbags, and electronic brake distribution. The Murano comes in three trim levels, the base S, SL, and LE. LE options include leather seating, rain-sensing wipers, navigation, and iPod integration.
