The Titan is a full-size pickup truck manufactured by
Nissan of Japan. First introduced in 2004, the Titan is designed for the North American market and shares similar platforms with the
Nissan Armada and the Infiniti QX56. The truck is fairly popular in the south of the U.S. which accounts for almost 25% of Titan sales.
The Titan’s power comes from a 5.6L V8 engine producing 305 horsepower mated to a 5
speed automatic transmission. The Titan can come in either a real wheel drive or a four wheel drive configuration. Trim levels are divided amongst XE, SE, Pro-4X, and LE. Options can include navigation system, rear sonar warning, and even flex-fuel.
News reports have indicated the Titan may be discontinued due to poor sales.
