Once - General Movies

This 2007 Oscar winning musical was written and directed by John Carney. It starred Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova as struggling musicians. The movie "Once" tells the story of the beautiful music and the love that the characters build together. This film was received well by both audiences, and critics. "Falling Slowly", a tune prominently featured in the film, won the Academy Award for Best Original Song. The soundtrack from the film also received a Grammy nomination.
