Panasonic is a multinational corporation based in Kadoma, Japan. Founded in 1918, it is known throughout the world as a manufacturer of consumer electronics and appliances. It was formerly a sub-brand of the larger conglomerate Matsushita which also included National, Sanyo, and Technics. Panasonic is now the official name. In 2007, it was ranked the 59th largest company in the world by Forbes.
Panasonic’s products include audio equipment, television sets, dvd players, video recorders, refrigerators, washing machines, rice cookers, food processors, automotive components, and microchips.
