The Philadelphia Flyers are an Eastern Conference, Atlantic Division NHL hockey team based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1967 as an expansion franchise, the Flyers were the first team not part of the NHL’s “Original Six” to win a Stanley Cup. To date, they have won 15 division titles, 7 conference titles, and 2 Stanley Cups. Their home court is the Wachovia Center and the team’s head coach is currently John Stevens. The Flyers are owned by Comcast-Spectacor. Minor league affiliations include the Philadelphia Phantoms and the Mississippi Sea Wolves.
