Phoenix Coyotes - NHL Hockey

Phoenix Coyotes image The Phoenix Coyotes are a Western Conference, Pacific Division NHL hockey team based in Glendale, Arizona. Founded in 1972, they were originally known as the Winnipeg Jets before becoming the Phoenix Coyotes in 1996. To date, they have won 3 division championships, 4 conference titles, but no Stanley Cups. Their home court is the Jobing.com Arena and the team’s head coach is currently Wayne Gretzky. The Coyotes are owned by Jerry Moyes and Wayne Gretzky. Minor league affiliates include the San Antonio Rampage and the Arizona Sundogs.

Prominent Coyotes players include Bobby Hull, Dale Hawerchuk, and Thomas Steen.
