The Vibe is a compact hatchback built by the Pontiac division of General Motors. First introduced in 2003, it was designed through a joint venture with
Toyota. Thus it shares production elements with both the
Toyota Corolla Matrix and the
Toyota Voltz. The Vibe is currently in its second generational design phase.
Power is currently provided by either a 1.8L inline 4 or a 2.4 liter. Transmission options include a 5
speed manual or a 4/5
speed automatic.
The car is produced in Fremont, California.
