Porsche is an auto manufacturer based in Germany and considered to be one of the most prestigious brands in the world. Porsche vehicles are considered high end luxuries and command a high price premium. Their sports cars are recognized as high performing but extremely refined machines with distinctive designs that are rarely mistaken for anything else. Their most famous product, the Porsche 911, came in fifth in an international poll for Car of the Century. Porsche also carries the historical honor of having been the original designers for the Volkswagen Beetle.
