Mighty Morphin Power Rangers was a live action children's show that ran on FOX from 1993 to 1995. The show was formated for an American audice from a Japanese series called Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger.
The series focuses of five teens who were chosen to help catch an evil force that was unwittingly released by two astronauts. The teens are given the ability to morph into power rangers in order to fight the evil.
The show was a hit among children and became part of pop culture in not time. However many parents felt the series was too violent for kids.
