Pushing Daisies was a dramedy that aired on ABC from 2007 to 2008. The show follows the life of a pie-maker who has the ability to bring people back from the dead for one minute. He uses that gift to solve unsolved deaths and collect reward money.
The show was critically praised by the media and found a cult loyal fan base. The show was doing great in the ratings, then the Writer's Strike happened and when the show came back, months later, many viewers had abandoned he show.
It was announced that the show was pulled from the schedule and the last episode aired in December of 2008.
