Rajon Rondo is a Point Guard for the
Boston Celtics in the NBA. He was drafted in the 1st round with the 21st overall pick by the
Phoenix Suns in 2006. His rights were then traded to the
Boston Celtics and he signed with the Celtics in July, 2006. Rondo was a McDonald’s All American Player in high school. He attended the University of Kentucky, but the Wilcats failed to make it to the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament both years Rondo played there. Rondo made it to the NBA All Rookie Second Team in 2007, and was a key part of the
Boston Celtics team that won the NBA Championship that season.
