Founded by brothers Fernando and Santiago “Santi” Aguerre in 1984, the focus at the company's inception was the creation of a high-quality sandal for those living active lifestyles. After moving to Southern California, the brothers created Reef, now the #1 sandal brand and a leading surf brand.
Today, Reef offers casual beach and mountain apparel for men, women, and children, including swimwear, fleece, denim, and footwear. Reef also offers accessories such as belts, towels, keychains and wallets bearing the famous Reef logo.
