Roberto Cavalli - Fashion Designers

Roberto Cavalli is an Italian Fashion Designer born in Florence, Italy. He started his designing days when he was 21 years old. Inspired by his grandfather, he decided to enroll at a local art institute to learn about textile printing. He painted on T-shirts before setting up a factory to do the printing. He started his career in 1965 and patented a printing procedure for leather that he invented in 1970 where he chose Paris to showcase his revolutionary way of printing on leather.

Cavalli had been making sexy garments for 20 years which had been successful especially in the European countries. He had been voted as Designer of the Year by the Fashion Group International on October 2002.
