
The San Francisco Giants are a Major League Baseball team that came into the league in 1883. Presently they play in At&T Park in San Francisco, California. The team logo is black, orange, and white and features a baseball with orange stitching and the word “Giants” written over it.
Notable San Francisco Giants of past and present include Willie Mays, Barry Bonds, Carl Hubbell, Juan Marichal, Orlando Cepeda, Gaylord Perry, Willie McCovey, Matt Williams, Jeff Kent, and Benito Santiago. They play in the National League West Division with such teams as the
Los Angeles Dodgers,
Arizona Diamondbacks,
San Diego Padres, and
Colorado Rockies. They last won the World Series in 1954, although they went to the World Series in 2002.
