Schindler's List (1993) - Movie Dramas

Schindler’s List was released in 1993. The movie was a dramatized account of a German businessman named Oskar Schindler. Schindler saved over a thousand Polish Jews during the Holocaust by hiring them to work in his factories. The film was directed by Steven Spielberg, and the screenplay was written by Steven Zaillian. The screenplay was based on the novel by Thomas Keneally.

Liam Neeson portrays Schindler. Some of the other actors in the film include, Ben Kingsley, Ralph Fiennes, Caroline Goodall, and Embeth Davidtz. Schindler’s List was both a box office and critical success. The movie earned seven Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Score. The American Film Institute rated Schindler’s List eight on its list of the 100 best American films of all time.
