The Seattle Seahawks are a professional football team in the National Football League. They came into the league in 1976. Presently they play in Qwest Field in Seattle, Washington. The team logo is blue, green, and white and features the profiled head of a sea hawk.
Notable Seattle Seahawks of past and present include Sean Alexander, Steve Largent, Matt Hasselbeck, Deion Branch, Nate Burleson, and Bobby Engram. They play in the NFC West Division with such teams as the St. Louis Rams,
Arizona Cardinals, and
San Francisco 49ers. They have never won the Super Bowl, although the made it to the game in 2005, losing against the
Pittsburgh Steelers.
