Shear Genius - Reality TV

Jaclyn Smith hosts Shear Genius, a competitive reality program on Bravo that premiered in 2007. The show, a sort of mesh between Project Runway and Top Chef, pits aspiring hair dressers against each other to determine who is the best.

The show gives viewers a closer look at the world of high-end hairstyling. Each week contestants are given a two challenges, a Shortcut Challenge and an Elimination Challenge. The hairdressers who performed the worst cut, faces a panel of judges and one is eliminated. The process continues until one is left.
