Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones image George Lucas directed the 2002 film Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. This film was the fifth movie in the Star Wars series. Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, and Natalie Portman play the main title roles in this movie. Attack of the Clones was produced by Rick McCallum and George Lucas. George Luscas and Jonathan Hales created the screen play. The film was released by 20th Century Fox on May 16, 2002.

Attack of the Clones occurs ten years after the events in Star Wars Episode I. The galaxy is on the brink of civil war. A large portion of the galaxy is threatening to secede from the Galactic Republic. The Jedi Knights try to do everything they can to prevent that from happening. A large battle breaks out between the Droid Army and the Republic's clone army. Count Dooku tries to escape and runs into Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. Both Obi-Wan and Anakin are not able to defeat Count Dooku and Anakin lost his arm in the battle. In the end, Yoda came to the rescue, but Count Dooku managed to escape.

Attack of the Clones starred Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi. Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker. Natatlie Portman as Senator Amidala. And Samuel L. Jackson as Mace Windu.
