Stargate SG-1 is a science fiction series that is set four years after the 1994 film Stargate.
The Stargate universe a series of ancient gates called Satgates connect the galaxies and allows for beings from those universes to come into contact.
The show was named one of the top cult shows ever. The show ran on Showtime for five seasons then moved to the SCI FI channel for seasons six - 10. The show ran for 10 seasons.
