
Suzuki Motor Corporation is an automotive and engine manufacturer based in Hamamatsu, Japan. Suzuki’s products include motorcycles, All-Terrain Vehicles, marine outboard engines, and automotive engines. Founded in 1909 by Michio Suzuki, the company got its start building weaving looms for Japan’s silk industry. Looms eventually gave way to cars in 1937, then motorcycles, and various other goods. Suzuki now manufacturers its cars globally with plants notably in Hungary, Pakistan, and India.
